Frieda Marie Koehn, 94, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Moundridge Manor. She was born March 1, 1926 in Halstead, the daughter of Jacob J. and Lena (Unruh) Unruh.
She was a devoted homemaker. Frieda was a member of Garden View Mennonite Church in Halstead.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Henry “Art” Koehn on December 14, 1947 in Halstead. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2019.
Frieda is survived by her sons, Darryl (Linda) Koehn of Madrid, NE, David (Virginia) Koehn of Texhoma, TX, and Ed (Nadine) Koehn of Halstead, KS; daughters, Doris (Emery) Boehs of Leland, MS, and Lena (Merle) Wenger of Newton, KS; sisters, Zella Unruh, LaJean (Allen) Becker, and Mae Unruh, all of Halstead, KS; nineteen grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
The family requests friends that want to pay their respects to Mrs. Koehn and her family may do so by driving through Garden View Mennonite Church canopy on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Private graveside services will be held later at the church cemetery.
