RENO COUNTY — A semi driver was injured in a Reno County accident Friday.
According to the Reno County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, deputies were dispatched to 101st Avenue and Peace Road for a single vehicle, injury accident involving a semi. Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.
Justin Stone was the driver of the semi and stated he was traveling west on 101st when he approached the curve at Peace Road a little too quickly. Stone applied his brakes and left the roadway right which caused the semi to roll.
Stone was treated and transported to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
