HARVEY COUNTY —Three people were injured in accident just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Ford F150 driven by 57-year-old Larry Koehn of Halstead was westbound on U.S. 50 at Ridge Road, when the pickup rear-ended a westbound 2003 GMC Envoy driven by 61-year-old David Rogers of Newton that was yielding for traffic to turn south on Ridge Road.
The collision pushed the Envoy into eastbound lanes and it struck a 2008 Hyundai Tucson driven by 44-year-old Timothy Pinkston of Halstead.
EMS transported Rogers, Pinkston and a passenger in the Hyundai, 46-year-old Lisa Johnson of Halstead, to a Wichita hospital. Koehn was not injured. All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
