BUHLER Kan. — The Buhler USD 313 School District announced Thursday that they will be opening up its outdoor facilities to the public.
School buildings remain closed to the public but they will be able to open outdoor high school athletics facilities to the public. This includes the tennis courts and artificial turf field/track in Buhler. They ask to make sure there are no gatherings of more than 10 people and maintain six feet of distance.
During the summer months, Buhler Rec is in charge of softball/baseball facilities. As KSHSAA sponsored activities have been canceled for the remainder of the year, responsibility for scheduling is now being managed by the Buhler Rec. Please contact Kara Voss at buhlerrec@gmail.com for any facility scheduling needs.
The district says school playgrounds remain closed and will continue to keep those closed until the cities of Hutchinson and Buhler open their playgrounds.
