SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Here's some good news for motorists who have had a few extra miles tacked on to their trip because of bridge projects in the county.
Reno County Public Works Director Don Brittain announced Wednesday that the bridge project on 82nd Avenue east of Buhler is nearing completion and should be open to traffic on Monday.
The Nickerson Boulevard bridge will also open on Monday, but will close for one week late in May to put a final sealant on the roadway.
The Medora Road bridge north of Medora is also nearing completion. The final touches on that project are expected to be completed by the middle of May.
