HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Friday meal permit date resulted in a great number of meals served in USD 308.
A total of 1,952 meals were served. Some families had to be sent to a second site, because they ran out of meals at HMS-8. The district says they will plan more for Monday.
"If you were not able to get your meal pass on Friday we will be distributing those daily," said the district on Facebook. "Please ask for a pass when you come to the site."
Meals are free for any child 1-18 years of age and are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at HMS-7, HMS-8 and McCandless Elementary.
