HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Nickerson USD 309 has announced some changes in the Grab and Go part of the current food program.
The district announced that they are adding food for the weekend that is picked up on Friday at all sites. The district is still providing hot meals at Nickerson High School, Nickerson Elementary School and South Hutchinson Elementary School.
The district will continue with remote grab and go sites at 7th & Westside Villa, 5th & Main in South Hutchinson, 12th and Arthur and 14th and Arthur in Hutchinson. However, they will only serve at the remote sites on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each child will still receive meals for Tuesday, Thursday, and the weekend for every day of the week will still be covered.
