HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Work on two construction projects at Hutchinson Community College continues to move along. The HutchCC Board of Trustees heard a report on the projects during their monthly meeting Thursday.
The student dining center renovation is proceeding with the contractor getting ready to pour the floor of the new kitchen space. With students being away from campus, the contractor has been able to begin demolition work on the existing dining space, allowing the project to make up time. It is currently on schedule. The $5.2 million project includes expanding the dining and kitchen area and remodeling the basement recreation and meeting areas.
In other work, the renovation of the football offices and locker room is also moving along on schedule with an expected completion date in June.
