SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas teen on felony charges after an arrest.
Just after 7p.m. Thursday, the Shawnee County Fugitive Warrants Unit served an arrest warrant in the 1400 block of SW Byron Street, according to Sgt. Todd Stallbaumer.
While serving the warrant, deputies observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
The Shawnee County Drug Task Force then executed a search warrant on the residence, and seized a Springfield XD semi-automatic pistol, Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol, Over 50 packages of THC edibles, Over 100 suspected unlawful pills (which will be sent to KBI for further analysis, Various types of ammunition.
They also arrested Jeremiah M. Guesby, 17, of Topeka, was arrested on on requested charges of Felony probation violation, Misdemeanor probation violation and Interference with law enforcement, according to Stallbaumer.
