HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno has rallied, and the work continues.
Debra Teufel with the Chamber noted that the Rally Reno program has passed the $100,000 mark with $101,325 in gift card sales as of Thursday morning. The program has sold 1,770 gift cards to 467 customers. Each customer has averaged $216 in orders. The webpage has over 30,000 views with 4500 unique visitors to the RallyReno.org site.
The El Dorado and Winfield chambers have reached out to start similar programs in their communities.
These numbers have all been accomplished in just 22 days and 90 businesses are participating. Donors have agreed to continue to look at contributing to keep the match between RallyReno.org and the unmet needs fund through United Way of Reno County going, but there is no specific number as to how far above $100,000 the match will go as of Thursday morning.
