HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Treasurer Brenda Kowitz wanted to remind residents that the 60-day extension that had been granted on tags, driver’s licenses and 60-day temporary tags does not apply to real estate taxes. The second half of 2019 taxes, if you did not pay in full in December, will be due May 10.
Despite the stay-at-home order and the pandemic, the governor has not given any indication that she will extend that deadline similar to other services provided by the treasurer's department.
