HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Lovella Kelley said Saturday night's cruising event to get supplies for Reno County nonprofits is looking ahead to future need.
Items will be collected Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. on Main Street. The nonprofits are asking for canned tuna, canned fruit, soup and Gatorade along with many non-food items.
Non-food items include:
-band-aids
-liquid laundry soap
-wipes or washcloths
-diapers, size 3-6
-Pull-Ups, size 4-6
-feminine products
-bars of soap
-toothpaste
-combs
-brushes
-Lysol
-thermometers
-Tylenol
-hand sanitizer
-disposable gloves
The previous event earlier this year netted 3,000 pounds of food.
