HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Federal Judge unsealed a whistleblower complaint made against Medtronic, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) was named as a co-defendant regarding its purchase of medical supplies several years ago.
The whistleblower worked for a competitor of Medtronic whose products were not selected by HRMC. The Justice Department has indicated that it will not be involved in prosecuting the claims.
HRMC will have no further comment, as our staff is busy dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic.
