
Viola Nadine McCue, 93, of South Hutchinson, died April 11, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 16, 1926, in Hutchinson, to Everett Carlson and Leora Helen (Finnell) Casey.
Nadine was a bookkeeper and bowling instructor for 17 years at Riverside Lanes, South Hutchinson. She retired after nine years of working at Lawrence Vending, Hutchinson, in 1975. Nadine was an avid bowler for 55 years. She served as president of the Hutchinson Women’s Bowling Association, and was a lifetime member of The Women of the Moose.
On April 9, 1946, Nadine married James H. McCue, in Hutchinson. They shared over 72 years of marriage, prior to his death on January 28, 2019.
She is survived by: children, Karen Herdt of South Hutchinson, Terry (Lynda) McCue of Hutchinson, and Pamela (William) Wright of Springfield, TN; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Nadine was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James H. McCue; brothers, William Everett Casey and Ralph Casey; granddaughter, Stephanie Joy McCue; and son-in-law, Gerald Herdt.
Private graveside service will be Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with The Reverend Richard Brooks officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2020, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary.
