HUTCHINSON, Kan. — High winds Sunday likely contributed to a large power outage northwest of Hutchinson.
According to the Evergy Kansas Central outage map, the outage was reported just before 6 p.m. and affected over 700 customers. It also knocked KHUT, Country 102.9 off the air for a portion of Sunday evening.
