Hutchinson Clinic offering tele medicine options

Posted Apr 11, 2020 10:41 AM

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Clinic continues to work to make sure that patients that need care can get it while keeping employees and others safe during the pandemic.

The clinic says they are taking special precautions to protect all patients and staff from COVID-19 by following rigorous screening procedures both by phone and at entry points of all facilities. Any patient or visitor with fever or respiratory symptoms will be receiving care at the dedicated respiratory clinic facility.

For routine lab needs, the clinic has an additional offsite lab facility in South Hutchinson (the former Walk-in Care location). This facility is currently dedicated to lab services only and all patients and staff will be screened for symptoms and travel history prior to entry. If you have any concerns about managing your healthcare, please call to discuss your options 620-669-2500.

The clinic also says that many of its providers are offering telemedicine visits. You can now see your doctor from the comfort of your own home. To schedule your visit today you can call 620-669-2500

The CDC recently made a recommendation to wear cloth face coverings in public settings. When you enter the facility you will notice staff who interact with patients will be wearing a mask. We encourage all patients who enter our facility to bring a mask and wear it while inside the facility or any other public space.

The respiratory clinic is open 7 days a week for adult and pediatric patients on weekdays 8 a.m.-8 a.m. and weekends 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Call 620-669-2500, if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms and a member of their care team, will assist you.
