PRATT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 11 a.m. Monday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by 16-year-old Caden Thomas Moss of Owensville, Mo. was eastbound on Northwest 90th Street one half mile south of Byers when Moss failed to stop at a stop sign at 70th Avenue and struck the trailer on a northbound 1999 Peterbilt semi driven by 47-year-old Andrew Ernest Boehme of Mullinville.
EMS transported Moss to a Wichita hospital. Boehme was not injured. Moss was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
