
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council will continue its work on land acquisition for the Cow Creek stormwater project during Tuesday’s regular meeting.
The piece of property is located along East Avenue G between Cleveland and Plum, and runs in between the K and O railroad and the Cargill Salt rail spur.
The sale price is $370,000 with a $100,000 down payment by the city. The stormwater utility fund will pay for the land acquisition.
Also Tuesday, the council will go into executive session to discuss workforce needs for the city. It is uncertain if any action will be taken following the executive session.
Tuesday’s meeting of the Hutchinson City Council begins at 9 a.m. in the Hutchinson city offices. The meeting will be available for viewing online.
