NICKERSON, Kan. — Although online classes have been underway for a week, the Nickerson USD 309 School Board will take action on the continuous learning plan and the waiver of hours during their meeting this evening.
Like all districts, USD 309 is asking that they be allowed to reduce the 1,116 hours needed to get through the school year. The reduction amounts to about 257 hours.
Also tonight, the Board will seek approval to continue paying staff and employees through at least the end of June and will discuss two proposals for renovating the high school track and football field.
Tonight's Nickerson School Board meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the district offices at 4501 W 4th Avenue.
