HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutch High senior volleyball star setter Josie Mclean had a tough decision to make last May, when her Dad, Jon Mclean, was named the new Activities Director replacing Kevin Armstrong at Hutch High. But, she didn't hesitate for an instant. "I knew I was destined to be at Hutch High. I loved the school and already knew most of the girls and I'm so excited to be here."
Mclean had already surpassed over 2,000 career assists and has close to 700 assists alone for this season as a setter for thee Hutchinson High Salthawks.
Hutch High (27-5) travel to Wichita to take on Maize South and Newton in AVCTL Div. 1 action on Tuesday. The Salthawks wrap up their regular season next Tuesday with a dual match at Maize.
Sub-state tournaments are scheduled for October 22nd with State assignments coming out on October 23rd. The State Tournaments kick off over the last weekend in October.
