HUTCHINSON, Kan . — With Palm Sunday approaching many are looking for a way to celebrate the Easter season and Sundays in general.
Nearly all churches in the area have some type of service available. One is even holding a parking lot service on Sunday.
The Solid Rock Bible Church will have a drive-up service in the parking lot of Simply Goods Overstocks at 5th and Main in South Hutchinson on Sunday. The service will be broadcast over FM radio at 106.7 on your dial. Visitors can listen to the service from their automobiles.
Other churches are either broadcasting over their Facebook pages, Youtube or recording the service and playing it back online.
Trinity United Methodist Church will have a recorded service available starting around noon at trinityhutch.org. Emanuel Lutheran Church is going back to previous services on DVD and playing them back on their Facebook site. Westside Baptist Church will record services and they will be available to view on Sunday morning on the church website.
Most churches are streaming their services live. CrossPoint will hold services at 9:00 and 11 A.M. and 6 P.M. on their website crosspointnow.net.
Grace Episcopal will have live service at 10:05 at gracechurchhutch.org.
Grace Bible Church will live stream their Sunday service starting at 10:30 at gbchutch.com/livestream. And Park Place Christian Church will have live services at both 9 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. on their Facebook page.
