HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Health Department asked residents Wednesday to adhere to the stay-at-home order and strongly discouraged travel outside of the county.
Director Nick Baldetti said they have received a number of questions regarding travel plans to neighboring counties. Baldetti says they want residents to eliminate travel outside the county. This is because of the increase in the number of cases outside Reno County and the risk that comes with such travel.
Again, the department wants to remind everyone to stay under the 10-person limit and practice social distancing. The department says the best practice is to stay home and keep you and your family safe.
As of Tuesday, there were nine positive cases of COVID-19 in Reno County.
