Irene Joan Keeler, 83, of Hutchinson, died March 27, 2020, at her home. She was born December 17, 1936, in Pratt, to Willard Earl and Verna Lee (Boughner) Keller.
Irene was a 1954 graduate of Isabel High School. She worked as an insurance clerk for the Medical Center P.A., Hutchinson, and retired after 27 years of service.
On June 25, 1954, she married Richard L. Keeler, in Hutchinson. They shared over 65 years of marriage.
Irene is survived by: husband, Richard L. Keeler of Hutchinson; children, Gary (Cindy) Keeler and Annette (Terry) Bell, all of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Randy Gene Keeler; twin daughters, Sheryl Lynn Keeler and Sonia Lee Keeler; brothers, Jim, Basil and Bill Keller; and sisters, Cleo D’Amato, Alta Corbin and June Gilpen.
Cremation has taken place. Private family graveside service will be held at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Minister Wayne DeWindt officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2020, through Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary.
