SEDGWICK COUNTY —Police Chief Gordon Ramsay reported stopping by a shooting in the 2900 N. Mascot in Wichita Thursday.
It was an accidental discharge, according to Ramsay. The man shot himself in the leg while removing gun from his pocket.
Ramsay wrote on social media, "We seem to have one or two of these a week. The man was transported to the hospital and he should be okay."
