HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Despite all of the exodus from the Hutchinson Mall over the years, there has always been one constant. Sadly, that ended on Tuesday when Riddle's Jewelry closed after more than two decades at the mall.
Officials with Riddle's said that a combination of slow sales and COVID-19 was more than the store could handle. The Hutchinson location is the only store closing. Stores in Wichita and Salina will stay open.
Store personnel spent the day Wednesday packing up inventory and clearing out the longtime spot by the food court.
