HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man is free on bond and facing potential charges of kidnapping, domestic battery and criminal damage to property.

Paul Massey was arrested Sunday following an incident in which he held a female victim against her will and allegedly choked her several times, according to the police report.

Police say the pair were in a car when an argument ensued. When the victim tried to leave the car, she was pulled back to the vehicle by her hair. When the couple got home, she started to walk away when Massey allegedly grabbed her and took her inside the residence.

His bond was set at $110,250. He was released from jail Monday afternoon. No charges have been filed at this time.
