BUHLER, Kan. — Dr. Paul Erickson will be interviewing for the position of superintendent with the board of education in Buhler USD 313 Monday evening.
Dr. Erickson is the first of three candidates that the USD 313 Buhler board of education will be interviewing. Candidates were selected for interviews based on their fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups that were utilized throughout the search process.
Dr. Erickson is currently serving as the principal of Union Valley Elementary School in USD 313. He is in his fifth year in that position. Previously, Dr. Erickson served as a classroom teacher and principal for 8 years in Inman and a classroom teacher in Hutchinson for three years.
Dr. Erickson will meet with the Board at 6:30 pm for his formal interview, conducted in executive session.
The board of education will conclude interviews on March 26, 2020. They will then determine which candidate is the best fit for the superintendent position in USD 313 Buhler Public Schools.
