With the Democrats leading the way, our beloved Kansas and nation have fallen into utter chaos. Less than eighteen months ago, we were enjoying the most prosperous economy in the history of mankind. By all measurements, our economic engine was galloping forward bringing every portion of our society along for the winning ride.
In the background, was the yapping of a toothless democrat party hunting and pecking for some way to draw blood from a historically successful President. False narratives rapidly transitioned from Russian collusion, to Supreme Court rapists, to ridiculous impeachment trials. The Democrats spent the Summer promoting destructive riots and the silly idea of defunding the police. All done for the sake of chaos.
Bizarrely, the Democrats salvation came from a virus from their beloved China. Rather than pursue early treatment, the liberal operatives in the Trump Administration and CDC, buoyed by liberal academic medicine, created a no win response that relegated poor souls to suffering and death to promote a new narrative of big government, big government control, and the creation of a major crack in our Constitutional freedoms. The Democrats parlayed this into a disrupted election and a nefarious, inexplicable advancement to power. The endgame of socialism was in their sight.
The holy grail of the virus response was to be a perfect vaccine. President Trump in businessman fashion thought he could buy his way out of this problem through a hastily launched mRNA transmitter labeled as a “vaccine”. As the liberals ramped up the divisive platform of critical race theory, climate change, an open southern border pregnant with crime, drugs, and terrorism, and destabilization of the Middle East, the vaccine became “leaky” and the CDC director acknowledged this fact and that masking society was ineffective. A leaky vaccine means the “vaccinated” are able become infected (and frequently do) then they become shedders/spreaders of the virus. Yet, the authoritarian drumbeat rolls on telling you that the vaccine is perfect and that the “vaccinated” are superior to the “unvaccinated”. Discrimination and isolation are the liberals next big powerplay and it’s in full effect today. Economic destruction and human destruction remains a poker chip they are willing to play.
There are many impediments to the government mandating vaccines so their strategy is to recruit useful idiots in the business world to do their liberal bidding. Mandated vaccines coupled to isolation of those who choose to assess the risks and hold off on the shot are blatantly discriminatory, and ultimately will not be tolerated in our Christian society. I am confident that these issues will be dealt with in the next legislative session by a Republican dominated House and Senate. Unfortunately, in the meantime our society will be disrupted and divided with the Democrats leading the way.
We must never forget that our precious individual freedoms guaranteed by our beloved Constitution are the cornerstone of a free market society. Loss of freedoms equate to an advancement towards socialism which does not tolerate private business ownership. Business owners that mandate are cutting their own throat in a misguided effort to secure profits undermining democracy in the process.
With Democrats leading the way, we fight amongst ourselves as great opportunities are ripe for the taking. Kansas can be a national leader by focusing its Commerce efforts on bringing manufacturing back from China (among others). Manufacturing is an exponential multiplier to an economy. Now is the time to act and grow strong again.
Energy prices in Kansas are some of the highest in the nation and is a distinct suppressor of economic growth. We now know that overbuilt and over-subsidized renewable energy has led us down this difficult path. I support the development of a fifty-year energy plan that ensures our prosperity. Reliable energy sources such as natural gas, coal, and nuclear energy are the pillars of safe, reliable, and affordable energy. With democrats leading the way, we languish with a stagnant economy and a tenuous energy supply, all in the name of climate change.
With democrats leading the way our government education system focuses on inequity and divisiveness. Exceptionalism isn’t even on the radar. Our schools must move back to teaching the core subjects rather than pigeonholing our nation’s history as evil. We have overfunded our Kansas schools and seen no fruit born from that spend. It will take strong willed legislators and competition to bring our socialist leaning schools back in line. That will never be done with democrats leading the way.
Our state and nation are great. Our Constitution is a Christian based document that is blessed and blesses us. I am committed to doing the work to right this teetering ship. It is time for lions not sheep. It is a time for our traditional values. It is time for America and Kansas first. And, I pledge to lead the way.
