The owners of Pizza Ranch in Hutchinson are doing what they can to help while USD 308 is on spring break.
Since the school district can't serve meals during that time, Dick and Dianne Kovarna posted on Facebook that they will be giving away two slices of pizza per student in their drive through Monday through Friday, March 23 to 27 to children in the car from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The offer is only for drive through.
"We will continue to safely serve our community as long as we are able to," the owners said.
Right now, all food at Pizza Ranch is being served cafteria style in store, since buffet style was prohibited as part of measures to limit the spread of COVID-19.
