HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Health Department Director Nick Baldetti gave an update on the latest on the COVID-19 pandemic. Friday night Baldetti revealed that the first presumptive positive case of COVID-19 was reported in the county.
The patient is a female over 60 years of age and is at home under quarantine. The patient is said to be doing well. Baldetti did say they are working to retrace the patient's footsteps and locations she had been.
The Health Department is working to get protective gear and other necessities together for agencies that need them.
Baldetti said he will be releasing an update later Saturday afternoon or evening.
