HUTCHINSON, Kan — Because of limited access to most government offices, the Hutchinson Police Department is not taking walk-in reports or questions at the Law Enforcement Center until cleared to do so by health experts. This is an attempt to help slow down the COVID-19 virus.

HPD says it will continue to serve the community and will be answering questions and taking reports over the phone at 620-694-2816. 

This does not change HPD's normal operational procedure of sending officers to calls of service when needed.&nbsp;
