HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Four youth sports tournaments originally scheduled to be held on weekends from March 28 to April 25 at Fun Valley Sports Complex have been canceled.
Tournaments include: USSSA Baseball Valley Opener (March 28-29); USSSA Fast Pitch Battle for the Rings (April 4-5); USSSA Baseball Battle for the Rings (April 18-19); and IFA Fast Pitch Fun Valley Spring Invitational (April 25).
This decision comes based on the most recent recommendations from the Reno County Health Department, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
At this time, youth baseball and fast pitch tournaments scheduled for May, June and July are on as scheduled. Ongoing details and updates will be shared with media outlets and on Hutch Rec's social media pages.
