HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Because of changing circumstances on dealing with COVID-19, the construction work on Halstead Street between 4th and East Avenue G has been postponed.
According to Hutchinson Public Works, the contractor has tentatively moved the start date of the work to April 1.
The intersection of Halstead Street and Carey Boulevard will be under construction through April 22. There will be local access, however, the intersection under construction will not be open. Detour routes will be provided.
As businesses lock down to follow recommendations, this date may change.
