HUTCHINSON, Kan. — HutchCC has announced the suspension of face-to-face classes beginning Monday, March 16th.  Online classes will continue as scheduled. Concurrent (high school) classes will follow the schedule of that high school.

On Monday, March 16, essential personnel only should report to work. If an employee is unsure how this applies to them, they should contact their supervisor for clarification.

All personnel and faculty will return on Tuesday, March 17 to take steps to transition face-to-face curriculum for the possibility of alternate delivery in the event face-to-face classes remain suspended after Spring Break (March 23-27). Faculty will proactively assist students in this transition to optimize student success.

The Residence Halls will remain open the week of March 16. For those students we will continue to provide services such as food service. We encourage students who can go home to do so. Before students will be allowed to check out of the residence halls, they should consult their advisor if they are in an AAS or career/technical education program.

Students approved to stay on campus during Spring Break will be permitted to remain if they choose. Students traveling for Spring Break will be expected to adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as they apply at that time.
