HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that the Legislative Forum scheduled for Saturday at the HutchCC Shears Technology Center at 9:30 a.m. will take place as scheduled.
Following the guidelines set by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for public gatherings, they will discourage handshaking or other contact and will work with the event hosts to minimize risks.
However, with the recent postponement of the NJCAA DI Men’s Basketball Championship and the travel restrictions on the guest speaker, the Chamber has chosen to postpone the March Membership Breakfast that was scheduled for March 18.
The Chamber says it will continue to monitor the situation for future events.
