Christopher Lyle Hamby, 45, passed away on March 10, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born October 8, 1974, in Beaufort, SC, the son of Rickey D. Hamby and Susan (Stutesman) Poston.
Christopher enjoyed many hobbies and interest. In his spare time he enjoyed watching movies, putting together 3-D models, working on cars and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Hamby and a sister, Stacy Clark.
Survivors include his step-father and mother, Patrick and Susan Poston; a daughter, Ria Poston; a brother, Steven (Terri Cooper) Hamby; a sister Melissa (Jeramy Zwickl) Hamby; a grandmother, Dolores Buskirk; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
