PRATT, Kan. — Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Pratt County Monday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Jose Sevilla of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was going west on U.S. 54 when he tried to pass another vehicle and ran into the back of a car driven by 61-year-old Nancy McAllister of Wichita, who was in the outside lane. Both vehicles ended up in the median.
Sevilla and McAllister were both taken by EMS to Pratt Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The accident happened around 10:15 a.m., 12 miles east of Pratt.
