The 2020 edition of the annual Gathering for Gardeners is Saturday in Hutchinson. This is free information from experts for every level that wants to get their hands dirty this year."They love coming and talking to our audience," said Betty Taylor, Education Committee Chairperson of the Hutchinson Horticulture Club. "The Hutchinson Horticulture Club really enjoys putting this free event on for the community every year."The all day event is at Our Reedemer Lutheran Church at 407 East 12th just west of the Kansas Cosmosphere."They have padded chairs, they have a large screen, we have a projector and computer and all that," Taylor said. "People don't have to stay for the entire day. We've registered over 300 some years. It varies from year to year, depending on the weather. This Saturday sounds like it may be a day you want to be inside."Door prizes will be available, but you must register to win.
