 </figure>HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Commissioners will consider a conditional use permit request from a couple that wants to open a small restaurant on their property three miles west of Haven.Ferman and Karen Eash want to build the limited-service restaurant at Irish Creek and Obee Road. The Planning Commission has recommended approval 7-0.The restaurant that will be named Irish Creek Essenhaus. It would be open on Saturdays only and only nine months out of the year, closing June, July and August. The facility would seat about 25 customers at a time and serve family-style meals. The restaurant would run by reservation only. Plans are to have a small gift shop available too.The couple is looking for some leeway when it comes to parking and a loading facility owning the small size of the business and the property. The water on the property has been tested and with the limited number of guests, will not have to fall under the guidelines of a public water supply. Tuesday’s meeting of the Reno County Commission begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
