 </figure>HUTCHINSON, Kan. — With the recent good weather things are picking up speed on two major bridge projects in Reno County. Public Works Director Don Brittain says both the 82nd Ave. bridge project and the Nickerson Blvd. project are running at or ahead of schedule. The 82nd Ave. project has 60 working days to complete and is approximately 60% done. The bridge rehab is on schedule at this time and should be done in five to six weeks, weather permitting. The Nickerson Blvd. bridge has 90 working days to complete and is approximately 45% complete and on schedule at this time and should be done in eight to nine weeks.As those projects progress, another major bridge renovation is about to begin. Work on the Medora Road bridge starts Monday. Medora Road will be closed from 95th to 108th during the work. Motorists will detour on 95th west to Plum Street, north on Plum to Cherokee Road, then east on Cherokee Road to what would be, once you're in Reno County, Medora Road.The Medora Road project is expected to be completed in about three months.
