RENO COUNTY — A motorcyclist was injured in an accident Thursday morning in Reno County.
According to the Reno County Sheriff's Office, deputies were sent to 85th Avenue and Mayfield Road just before 9 a.m. Thursday.
Sixty-five year old James E. Higdon of Buhler had been riding his motorcycle east on 82nd when he lost control on curves in the road and ended up with the motorcycle on its side in the ditch. Higdon told officers he was wearing glasses while riding but did not have on a helmet.
Higdon was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
