HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson USD 308 will hold events involving Hutchinson Middle School — 8 over the next week.
The first event is the Eighth Grade Open House for HMS-8 students. Current eighth-graders and their parents are invited to Hutchinson High School for the open house March 10 at 7 p.m. in the HHS Performing Arts Center, 810 E. 13th.
During the evening, students and families will hear about the enrollment process and meet HHS teachers, administrators and coaches. The evening will begin with a short program in the auditorium followed by the opportunity to see the campus.
On March 13, the middle school will host the Second Annual Fine Arts Chili Feed to benefit Hutchinson Middle School from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at HMS – 8.
The HMS choir, drama, jazz band, Expressives and Hutchinson High School Theater Department will perform during the evening.
There will be a silent auction during the chili feed as well. Freewill donations are accepted for the meal.
