James Lee 'Jim' Fowler | 1945 - 2020 |

James Lee Fowler, 74, died March 2, 2020, at Fountain View Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Rose Hill.  He was born May 24, 1945, in Houston, TX, to Gerald and Eileen (Sargent) Fowler.

.Jim graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College.  He served in the United States Army in Vietnam.  Jim sold cars and worked at Cessna Hydraulics before a motorcycle accident left him disabled.

Jim enjoyed doing artwork and riding his bike to Elmdale Community Center to play pool.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Jim is survived by: son, Brad Fowler (Amberle, McPherson; brother, Gary Fowler (Jeanene, Wheaton, IL; nephews, Matt, Steve, Garrett, and Jeff Fowler; nieces, Whitney Fowler and Kristy Allen.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Bob Fowler; nephew, Kevin Fowler; and niece, Jill Fowler.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, in Hester Chapel at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
