Hutchinson Land Bank board to hold monthly meeting Tuesday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Land Bank Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday afternoon in the Executive Conference Room at 125 East Avenue B.

On their agenda for the 3 p.m. meeting is an application for right of first refusal on properties at 214, 216 and 218 West 6th. Also, an application for purchase of 539 and 541 East Avenue A is up, as are mowing bids for the 2020 season.

The Land Bank is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, each of whom is appointed by the City Council. The Hutchinson Housing Commission nominates two of its members for appointment by the City Council. The remaining three members appointed by the City Council are required to have expertise in land development, construction, development finance, real estate sales or marketing, real estate law, neighborhood growth and development, or expertise related to the responsibilities of Land Bank operation.

The Land Bank's next meeting after Tuesday is scheduled for April 7.
