Dean Edward Bastion, 74, of Hutchinson, died February 25, 2020, at his home. He was born September 8, 1945, in Oakland, CA, to Lawrence Edward and Maxine Lola (Jones) Bastion.
He married Terress Jackson in 1992. Dean served in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a police officer.
He is survived by: wife, Terress Bastion; daughters, Annette Allen and Natalie Bastion; granddaughters, Kaley Givens and Ashley Allen; great-grandchildren, Denim and Dakota Givens; honorary daughter, Alyssa Casanova (Jamaal Norris); honorary grandchildren, Braelyn and Nikko Casanova, and Hendrix Norris; stepdaughters, Cheri and Mechelle McGrew; step-grandchildren, Ryan Howe, Presley LaBleu, and Sean Quin; and sister-in-law, Billie Bastion.
Dean was preceded in death by: his parents and brother, Gary Bastion.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, is in charge of arrangements.
