William R. ‘Bill’ Ford, 55, died February 24, 2020, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. He was born September 23, 1964, in Santa Barbara, CA, the youngest son of Leo Arthur and Dorothy O. (Reeves) Ford.
Bill graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1983. He worked at Concrete Plus for almost 12 years. Bill enjoyed watching his favorite teams: the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and KU Jayhawks. In addition, he could be found watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. and John Wayne movies. Most of all, Bill loved his family, especially spending time with his two sons. They enjoyed fishing together, and were planning an upcoming fishing trip.
Bill is survived by: sons, Garrett Ford (fiancé Bridget, and Jared Ford, all of Archie, MO; siblings, Linda Russell, Judy Scott, Mike Ford; five nieces; four nephews; Garrett and Jared’s mother, Becky Ford; and his beloved dog, Cocoa.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Breanna Ranae Ford; sister, Mary Bates; and nephew, Eddie Hornof.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
