Two injured in accident near Buhler

BUHLER, Kan. — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in eastern Reno County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Reno County Sheriff's Department, 68-year-old Edward Ribordy of McPherson was going north on Woodberry Road when he collided with a westbound vehicle driven by 35-year-old Timothy Rutherford of Buhler at the intersection with 72nd Avenue.

Burrton EMS transported both subjects to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The accident happened four miles east of Buhler around 4:40 p.m.
