HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 will give consideration to next year’s school calendar during Monday’s meeting.
The proposed calendar was approved by a committee in January. If approved, classes would begin on August 19th. Students would get three days off for Thanksgiving and two weeks for Christmas and New Year’s break. Spring break would also coincide with that of HutchCC, it would be March 22nd through the 26th. Classes would end for the year on May 26th. The calendar gives the school four and a half days of cushion for weather related cancellations.
Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the school district offices at 1520 N Plum.
