HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A local company is wanting to expand its footprint in Hutchinson. J&J Drainage which is located at 2nd and Pershing is working through the planning commission on plans to build a 36,000 square foot facility on their site. J&J manufactures the largest selection of culvert end sections and accessories in North America and offers a line of corrugated steel products.
The company provides finished materials to state and federal transportation agencies with corrugated culvert pipe.
No other details are available at this time. Chamber President Debra Teufel did state they are working with J&J in the expansion. The matter will come up as an administrative case before the planning commission during their Tuesday, February 25 meeting.
