MARION COUNTY, Kan. — A Newton man was injured Wednesday afternoon in an accident on Highway 50 in Marion County.
According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1997 International semi driven by 63-year-old Jerrold L. Unruh of Newton was westbound on Highway 50 a little less than a mile west of Yarrow Road in Marion County when the semi left the roadway and overturned into the north ditch.
A personal vehicle took Unruh to an unknown hospital to look at potential minor injuries.
